It's Late

I cant sleep I have so many thoughts, going through by brain so I decided to update my blog which is long over due. Life has been busy with lots of different things lately some of which I want to share and also to be able to remember.
Last week my Grandma Adams came into town for Easter. It was the first time that we have seen her since my Grandpa's death in October. It was so fun to see her and spend time with her. The highlight of her trip was that we were able to go to the Temple with her as a family. It had been 58 years since she had been there. After my Grandpa died she started preparing herself to go back and was able to do so last week. It was such a neat experience to see her there with such a sweet smile the whole time. She told my Mom that she believes that Grandpa was cheering her on up in Heaven. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever. Oh what a great reunion that will be when they will be with eachother again. I am going to be selfish and hope that it wont happen for along time. I want to keep her for my self for a little while longer. Sorry Grandpa :) I was able to spend a little bit of time alone with her while she was here. She taught me a lot about life and relationships in just a short amount of time. I am grateful for that opportunity. I love her so much and am so glad she is so happy again.

The other thing we did that was so amazing was last night we were able to go to a Benefit Concert for Christian and Stephanie Nielson the couple who was in the plane crash last year. If you aren't familiar with their story you need to check out her blog: neineidialouges.blogspot.com it is such an inspiring story of love, faith, and prayers. The concert was fantastic. Brooke White from American Idol was there and sang a couple of songs as well. My Dad asked me what my favorite part of it was and I said when Christian was speaking. At the end of the concert they announced that he was there and that he wanted to say a few words. He came through the back door of the auditorium and as he walked down the isle toward the stage everyone stood and clapped for him. It was amazing. He gave an update and expressed his gratitude for everyone that has helped his family over the past months. He expressed his love for his wife and told what strength she is. You could tell how humbled he was and much he appreciated it. I left there last night being so grateful for my life and my family. I think it is very easy to get down about what curve ball life has thrown your way, and man am I grateful for my ball. I cant even imagine what this family has gone through and what they will continue to go through and they are doing it with a smile on their face. The night was wonderful I couldn't have asked for better company or better entertainment. Thanks Mom and Dad.

So this is the blabbering of a sleep deprived girl late at night hope you all enjoyed.

Have a great week!

I bet that concert was terrific. I didn't even know about it---you are just way more aware than me. I'm only aware of which one of my children is currently "bugging" me. :) I do love reading their blog though...talk about putting things into perspective. I could use a good dose of that each day.

You said such sweet things about your Grandma---thanks for sharing. Grandma's are the best!

Keep smiling cutie.

So were you a little star struck. The Nelsons are worldwide celebrities now! What a terrible thing to become famous for, but they have provided a way for a lot of people to open up and serve!
